Holiday Club

!
In 2010 we are going to be 'At the Circus' from 26 -30 July.  Here are some details.

Application forms are available from church on Sunday or from Sue in the church office.  At the beginning of July we have over 150 children registered - but there is still room left for more.
!f you don't register in advance, don't worry.  Just turn up on the day.  There's room in every group except the Playgroup - so for 5 to 11 year olds, we'd love to see them.

Mornings  10-12.30

Afternoons  2-4

Youth programme
for years 7+
Evenings  7-9

We're also collecting cardboard boxes and a whole load of other stuff as part of our craft resources.  We have a list of what we need, which you can get from the church office.  If you have some items from the list then the church office is also the place to bring them.
!

Security

Due to security and safety the site has to be cleared during lunch times.

Important Notice
Parking on Main Road

We are a community church and care about our neighbours - please park carefully on Main Road to keep our good community relationships.  One side of the road only please.  Thank you.

Moonbase Mission report:

Well, we've come to an end of yet another Holiday Club; a week of great fun and laughter and joy.  We have played hard, made all sorts of craft, had some laughs and learnt some great truths about God's love for us and the call of Christ to follow Him.

The message we have shared is that God is not just there in the background of our lives, but chooses to involve himself with us and calls us to involve ourselves with Him.  24/7 and 365 days of every year.  We have heard children profess faith and trust in God - and it is our hope that children and their families in the parish of Wilford, Silverdale and Compton Acres would continue to explore and discover the fulness of what it means to be loved by God.

As a church we will continue to hold our doors wide open for all.  We hope to see every one of you, children and parents alike, at many more of the events we hold as a church for the community over the course of the coming year.

Thank you all for a great week.

Reverend Phil, Base Commander

 Fairtrade Coffee and Gift Shop

Why not visit the coffee shop during the morning or afternoon.  There are cakes too.  Plus Fairtrade gifts and food, a bookstall, costumes and jewellery.  Open to everyone all through Holiday Club.  Bring along a friend, baby or grandparent.  Delicious homemade treats every day.

Fancy Dress Day

Children are invited to wear a costume on Thursday, if they wish, in keeping with this year's theme.  (Costumes from around the world, or wild animals.)
