Selection Process Provisional Timetable

This is the current schedule, drawn up in agreement with the archdeacon of Nottingham, Peter Hill. It is still possible it may change as not everyone involved has been able to check the dates.

Remember that during September (the 25th is planned at the moment) you will be invited to join the church council in a structured, participative event that will build towards a specification for the new person at the helm of our church. It would be great if you can attend and have your say in this. There will be more notices on the event nearer the time.

5 September	First draft of parish profile document produced for review by the church council
23 September	Church council meeting
25 September (date change)	Parish meeting in church to gather input to the final parish profile and job specification
2 October	The official 'Section 11' meeting for the church council to finalise all documents and agree the two parish representatives on the selection panel
10 October	Advertising for the new vicar begins
31 October	Applications close
5 November	Candidates short-listed
11 & 12 November	Parish tours and interviews
12 November	Appoint new vicar and notify the Bishop
