Phil is currently an associate vicar in a
parish in Peterborough where he runs a congregation in a local church
primary school. Phil and his
wife Mandy have four children, Joshua (11), Charlie (8), Blaine (5) and
Scarlet (2) - with another baby expected on Easter Day. Mandy
is a fully-trained youth worker and is currently training as a pastoral
assistant.
Phil is 35 and was ordained in 2002 after
his theological training at Wycliffe College in Oxford. Prior
to that he graduated with a BSc honours in Aquatic Biology from the
University of Aberystwyth. Before
his theological training he worked as a secondary school science
teacher, teaching mainly physics.
Because of Phil’s commitments in his
current parish and to fit in with the arrival of his next child, we are
working together to explore and establish a start date for him in
Wilford.
