FUNDING FOR  FREE NURSERY EDUCATION. ( Nursery Education Funding )

All 3 & 4 year olds in Nottingham are entitled to a free nursery place. 

The entitlement is 5 sessions per week of 2 1/2 hours each for 38 weeks per year. All extra places must be paid for.

At the moment the funding does cover the cost of the whole school year at our pre-school (i.e. 38/39 weeks with sessions of 3 hours each).

Some parents like to split the funding between 2 or more setting this is not a problem but still only entitles the child to the 5 paid sessions as described above.

Free places begin the term after the child's 3rd birthday. (See Chart below)

FEE PAYING PLACES

All children under Nursery Education Funding age pay fees the cost of which is £5.00 per session.

Also children who attend 2 or more settings may use their entitlement with a setting other than ours so they again will  pay for their places at a cost of £5.00 per session.

Opening Times

Playgroup is open everyday during school term time

from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon

Toddlers is open every Tuesday & Friday and meet in the Benjamin Carter Hall 

(during term time)

from 9.30 to 11.30 am
