At South Wilford School we are proud of our musical traditions and wish to maintain this now and in the future. We have opportunities for children to learn to play the recorder and guitar. We also have visiting Instrumental Teachers. Children can learn to play brass, woodwind and stringed instruments. (There is a charge for this tuition.) Presently nearly 6o children are learning to play brass, woodwind and stringed instruments.

If you are considering purchasing an instrument for your child to learn, it is possible to, legally, avoid VAT by purchasing through the school. (This is ONLY for instruments for students at our school.) Please contact Mr. Perry if you are considering this as he will be able to give you an idea of price.
